To mark the cooperation between the Embassy to the Holy See and the various entities of the Order, in February, Ambassador Zanardi Landi donated, in the occasion of a meeting in the Rooms of Palazzo Orsini, with three Cisom volunteers , two defibrillators.
During the works of the Extraordinary General Chapter, the Embassy to the Holy See is endeavouring to organise a private audience with the Holy Father for the Chapter members.
In a religious structure near Rome, the Extraordinary Chapter General for the election of the Government of the Order of Malta, which will remain in office for six years, was held, presided over by the Lieutenant Grand Master Fra' John Dunlap and Cardinal Silvano Maria Tomasi, Special Delegate of the Pope.
In the presence of the Lieutenant Grand Master, Fra' John T. Dunlap, the celebration was held for the admission into the Sovereign Order of Malta with the dignity and rank of Bailiff Grand Cross of Honour and Devotion of Cardinal Fortunato Frezza, Canon of St. Peter's in the Vatican.
The Lieutenant of Grand Master Fra' John Dunlap conferred the insignia of Bailiff Grand Cross of Honour and Devotion on Cardinal Arthur Roche, Archbishop of Leeds and since 2022 Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, who renewed his closeness and support for the Order of Malta's works around the world.
The Ambassador and Diplomatic Corps of the Order's Embassy to the Holy See take part in the traditional Ceremony of Wishes to the Holy Father for the New Year, at the Vatican.
