The Holy Father received the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Holy See at the Vatican for the traditional New Year's Greetings.
In his Speech on the occasion of the 57th World Day of Peace, the Holy Father addresses a very topical issue, reflecting on the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on society, human rights, justice and peace.
During the absence of Ambassador Zanardi Landi, Minister Councillor Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi, Councillors Luciano Gobbi and Alessandro Pompili and Ecclesiastical Councillor Mons. Marco Ceccarelli, welcomed in Casa Litta-Palazzo Orsini, see of the Embassy, the six Grand Priors and the Regents of the five Sub Priories of the Order of Malta.
The annual reception on the anniversary of Blessed Gerardo, Founder of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, took place exceptionally this year in the wonderful setting of the Corsie Sistine of Santo Spirito in Sassia.
To bring back to the Order of Malta’s Hospital and Clinics the strong and perceptible sign of that attention to beauty and art which, for centuries, has characterized the therapeutic and health activities of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem: this is the main objective of the project "Art takes Care".
Thanks to the involvement of the Grand Hospitaller of the Order of Malta, the Embassy to the Holy See has given a significant contribution to complete the restoration and to expand the Church of the Parish of Faya, in Chad.

After months of preparations and close contacts between the Embassy of the Order of Malta to the Holy See and the European Parlament, on June the 8th the Grand Master Fra’ John Dunlap received some 100 European members of the European People’s Party at the Magistral Villa on the Aventine in Rome for a debate on the role of Christian values in European integration process.
