On Sunday, 16 November, after the Holy Mass for the World Day of the Poor, the Holy Father met with 1,440 pilgrims from the French association “Fratello,” which brought to Rome, for the Jubilee Year, numerous faithful belonging to the most vulnerable groups of society.
The "Project G.I.O.I.A.," ( JOY in English and acronym for YOUTH COMMITMENT EMPLOYMENT INCLUSION HOSPITALITY ) promoted and overseen by the Embassy of the Order of Malta to the Holy See, aims to foster independence and vocational training for young people with disabilities.
After the restoration of Casa Litta - Palazzo Orsini at Teatro Marcello, the Embassy itself has resumed its activities hosting an increasing number of events and donating the resulting contributions to the direct support of a number of charitable and assistance works.
