The Grand Master of the S. M.Order of Malta, HMHE Fra’ John Dunlap,  bestowed this morning the Medals of Honours of Merito Melitense to the Commander of the Swiss Guard, Col. Christoph Graf, and the Commander and Deputy Commander of the Vatican Gendarmerie, respectively Mr. Gianluca Gauzzi Broccoletti and Mr. Davide Giulietti.

The ceremony, which took place at the Embassy of the Order to the Holy See in Casa Litta-Palazzo Orsini, was attended, among others, by the President of the Governorate, Most Reverend Mother Raffaella Petrini, and the Head of Protocol of the Secretariat of State, Most Reverend Monsignor Javier Domingo Fernandez Gonzales.

The Commander of the Cuirassiers Regiment, Gen. Rino Coppola, also honored the ceremony with his presence.
