On Sunday, 16 November, after the Holy Mass for the World Day of the Poor, the Holy Father met with 1,440 pilgrims from the French association “Fratello,” which brought to Rome, for the Jubilee Year, numerous faithful belonging to the most vulnerable groups of society.
The Grand Master of the Order of Malta, HMEH Fra’ John Dunlap, the Ambassador to the Holy See Antonio Zanardi Landi, and his wife served at the tables where, in a large meal of solidarity and fraternity, guests whose daily lives are marked by suffering and deprivation were gathered.
His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, after the Angelus, visited the pilgrims, bringing words of hope to all those present together with his Blessing.
