H.E. the Receiver of the Common Treasure, Fra’ Francis Vassallo, visited the Youth Center for persons with disabilities that hosts the G.I.O.I.A. Project, launched by the Embassy to the Holy See with the support of the Grand Priory of Rome and numerous benefactor friends.
H.E. Fra’ Francis Vassallo was welcomed by the young people assisted through the Project, by educators, and by some volunteers. The Receiver visited the premises and listened to the stories and reflections of the young participants and the staff supporting them in this initiative, which aims to create a family beyond their family of origin—where young people can discover their autonomy and their value within society.
