After the sudden death of Frà Marco Luzzago, and the consequent cancellation of the June reception on the occasion of the Feast of St John the Baptist, the annual receptions of the Embassies to the Holy See and to the Quirinale took place, this year on September 27th, jointly in the presence of H.E. the Lieutenant of the Grand Master Frà John Dunlap, and of the Their Excellencies the Grand Chancellor, the Grand Hospitaller, the Receiver of the Common Treasure, and some Members of the Sovereign Council.
The event was attended by about a thousand guests, high representatives of the Vatican, institutional, diplomatic and military worlds, and members of the Roman Society, who were able to enjoy the Piranesi Gardens, Salons and Church in a positive atmosphere.
