During the absence of Ambassador Zanardi Landi, Minister Councillor Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi, Councillors Luciano Gobbi and Alessandro Pompili and Ecclesiastical Councillor Mons. Marco Ceccarelli, welcomed in Casa Litta-Palazzo Orsini, see of the Embassy, the six Grand Priors and the Regents of the five Sub Priories of the Order of Malta.

The Councillors of the Embassy hosted the Order’s religious authorities from Australia, Austria, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Spain, the United States and, of course, Italy. For the occasion, were also involved the Ambassadors of the countries where the Priories and Sub-Priories are located.

The meeting, much appreciated by all participants, gave the opportunity to speak together about the activities and the aims of the Embassy of the Order and the other diplomatic missions accredited to the Holy See, as well as to deepen the action carried out for the most vulnerable people that each Melitense Institution carries out in the five Continents, to fulfil the spiritual and charitable mandate “tuitio fidei et obsequium paupermum”.
