Ambassador Zanardi Landi, as part of the Delegation of HE the Grand Chancellor, attended the 60th edition of the Munich Security Conference, which brings together in Munich Heads of State and Government, ministers and senior institutional representatives of the international community to take stock of the main challenges in the field of Foreign and Security Policy.
The Sovereign Order of Malta, within the framework of the MSC, organized the high-level Side Event on the theme of the “protection of the population and humanitarian workers in conflict zones”, attended by senior representatives of religious institutions and international organizations involved in the protection of human rights, including Prime Minister of Lebanon Najib Mikati, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, UNHCR High Commissioner Filippo Grandi, IOM Executive Director Amy Pope, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, Jody Williams.
The Grand Magistry was represented by the HE the Grand Chancellor Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo and the Secretary General for Foreign Affairs Giampaolo Cantini.
