Saturday 5 April, on the occasion of the Jubilee of the Sick and Health Care Workers, the Embassy of the Order of Malta to the Holy See and the Embassy of France to the Holy See, in collaboration with the Pieux Établissements de France à Rome et Lorette, and with the Presidency of the Hospital, have organized a Concert of the Cappella Ludovicea, addressed to hospitalized patients and their families and to Health Workers, in the marquee made available for the occasion by the Hospital.
After the Blessing of Mons Aleardo Di Giacomo, Chaplain of the Hospital, the welcome of the President of ACISMOM Prince Lorenzo Borghese and the short speeches of the Ambassador of France HE Florence Mangin and the Grand Chancellor of SMOM HE Don Riccardo Paternò, the 40 musicians of the Cappella Ludovicea, led by Maestro Ildebrando Mura, performed on the notes of Vivaldi in front of Authorities of the Order and the ACISMOM, to several Heads of Mission and numerous hospitalized, doctors and health care workers, allowing around 30 people in wheelchairs and about twenty walkers with crutches to enjoy an hour of leisure.
For the Embassy of the Order to the Holy See, the initiative continues the path begun with the Project “Art takes care”, with the aim of bringing the beauty of Art, in all its forms, in places of suffering, so that the Sick Lords can draw comfort and well-being.
