The GIOIA Project accommodations, in Via Ostiense 103 (www.progettogioia.com), received the 2026 Traveller Review Award “Booking.com” from the Booking.com platform, an award given to the properties most appreciated by guests, based on real reviews of those who have lived through the experience.

Tourist accommodations are designed to host everyone, with a particular focus on families and travelers with special needs. Barrier-free spaces, well-kept and welcoming environments, and an inclusive atmosphere make a stay in Rome a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

The GIOIA Project is supported exclusively by the availability of the apartments of the Grand Priory of Rome and the generous support of several Italian and North American sponsors, who provided the resources for the ongoing work and the launch of the first activities. The search for funding is still ongoing to provide the Project with a financial impetus that will ensure its durability over the years and allow for a desirable growth in the number of young people with disabilities assisted.
