After the establishment of the new Government of the Order of Malta, instituted by the Decree of September 3rd 2022 of His Holiness Pope Francis, the Order’s Embassy to the Holy See hosted an open discussion bringing together at Palazzo Orsini the new Grand Chancellor, H.E. Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, and the Heads of Mission accredited to the Holy See and the Order, with the aim of describing the reform process and providing answers to the many questions that a unique and peculiar institution such as the Order inevitably raises.
