The Embassy to the Holy See hosted a photographic exhibition organized by the “Saint Pio Foundation”, displaying in the premises of Casa Litta -Palazzo Orsini some photographs of the Saint Pio from Pietrelcina, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the beatification of the Capuchin friar (1999, then proclaimed Saint by Pope John Paul II in 2002) and the 10th anniversary of the Saint Pius Foundation.
The faithful of the Saint of Pietrelcina were given access to the photos, unpublished and authentic, thanks to the personal photographer of Padre Pio, Elia Stelluto.
